    Manage, maintain & analyze billing.  Prepare monthly reports that compare forecast billing to actual.  Prepare Pay-Applications for general contractors.  Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy & proper codes.  Responsible for month end journal entries for prepaid expenses.  Prepare month end journal entries to maintain WIP accuracy.  Generate and maintain fixed asset list.  Perform weekly & monthly bank reconciliation.  Provide the cash application team with clear instructions on how to allocate payments.  Train & oversee the accounts payable team, monitor status of monthly vendor accounts to ensure that payments are up to date.  Oversee the account payable workflow in Smart search & communicate with IT regarding changes & updates in technology.  Assist controller with preparation of data for special projects, timely financial statements, or any other activity necessary to keep organization running smoothly.  Coordinate the end of the month closing process to ensure all corporate deadlines are met.Assist human resource manager in payroll.  Actively involved in continuous improvement of accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
