The course I help in are courses I take, so if you enjoyed the material you will not mind going over the material again, plus reviewing it will only strengthen your knowledge base and increase your capabilities for career employment. This position is also a great start if you want to go into teaching or delve into research by working closely with a professor.

There are a few mandatory office hours and study sessions per week, but for the rest of the hours, one would have to make them up. I make study guides and questions going over the concepts to solve this. Also, it does hurt when you have students struggling in the class who never accept your help even if you offer it multiple times.
