The Company:

Sylvan Encinitas is changing the way classrooms work through live, online, real-time instruction to K-8 schools. Our two main focuses are to give students the best quality instructors and to give instructors, especially women, work opportunities, irrespective of zip codes. We are the new way to classroom!

The Person:

We are currently looking for a Virtual General Education Tutor with a passion for teaching students and impacting outcomes! This is a remote role teaching/tutoring 3th-8th grade.
The Job:

• Teach students virtually during regular and after school hours.
• Engage students and teach!
• Pick your schedule.
• 1099 Independent Contractor.

What you will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in the United States.
• Active Teaching Certificate A Plus But Not Required!
• Past experience working with students at the middle or elementary school level.
• An engaging personality.
• Passion for helping K-8 students.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Teaching Certification (Preferred)

Contract Length:

• 3 - 4 months

Contract Renewal:

• Possible

Work Location:

• Fully Remote

Hours per week:

• Less than 10
• 10-19

Employment Length:

• 1 - 3 months
