JOB TITLE:Order Entry Representative


POSITION REPORTS TO: Order Entry Manager

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (7am-4pm)

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and skills


  • Create and enter sales orders for fuel, tanks, services and special projects with accuracy and detailed notes
  • Receive telephone calls and handle caller inquiries in a professional manner
  • Coordinate customer deliveries with other terminals
  • Communicate with sales representatives and dispatchers regarding customer needs
  • Other related tasks as assigned by manager


  • Minimum one year experience in a high volume data entry and customer service environment
  • Minimum one year recent phone experience in a corporate environment communicating with customers
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word programs
  • Must be able to type minimum of 30 WPM
  • Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Adept at problem solving
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Stable employment history
  • Must be able to pass background screening
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills, must be able to accurately repeat information back to the customer
  • Flexible with change
  • Willingness to accept constructive criticism and learn
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining a positive demeanor


  • SAP experience
  • Experience in the fuel or transportation industry preferred
  • Customer Service phone experience

  • Challenging, but rewarding Tank Department

    I can’t complain. Funny part is that a lot of people do end up complaining about one thing or another but you’ll also notice these people don’t stay with the company for very long. Sun Coast Resources requires a higher level of commitment that some may not be willing to give. It’s fair if you want a more laidback job that doesn’t take a lot of effort on your part but if you’re looking for a challenge that’ll reward your efforts, I recommend giving this company a chance.

    The boss isn’t the easiest to please. You will be held to a high standard.
