Job Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for compilations, reviews, and audit engagements
• Identify and communicate problems with engagement team early in the audit engagement
• Detect inconsistencies in information submitted by client
• Develop an attitude of professional skepticism in analyzing information
• Perform GAAP research
• Support Senior Accountants, Managers, and Partners in our A&A Department

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in accounting and in-progress CPA certification
• 1 3 years of experience in audit and attestation
• Passionate about a career in public accounting and committed to ongoing professional growth
• High attention to detail and follow through with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to switch from proactive, independent work to collaborative, integrated team member as the task or project demands
• Proficient in time management with an emphasis on the importance of meeting deadlines while managing multiple projects and clients
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to firm- and client- specific practices
• Knowledge of of GAAP and GAAS
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with Prosystems fx Engagement preferred
