The Maintenance Program Manager is the subject matter expert providing guiding oversight for Mx Programs initiatives, disciplines and identifying and correcting Maintenance Program deficiencies or areas of compliance risk within Technical Operations. This position will work in partnership with Teams across multiple groups (internal and external to Mx Programs) to implement program optimization initiatives and decrease compliance risk. Works on complex issues exercising judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Utilizes professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

Provide guidance and oversight to disciplines within parts of the Routine Maintenance Programs:
Aircraft work instructions
Provide guidance and technical oversight to Mx Program Specialists and/or Technical Writers who manage the Routine Maintenance Program and or Work Instructions in accordance with the following requirement inputs:
SWA Developed Requirements
Regulatory Documents: EWIS, AWL, CMR, AD, FTS, FRM, CFR, ETOPS
Provide guidance and technical oversight to Mx Programs Specialists who manage the Maintenance Requirement Tracking Computer Data Control Systems (CDCS) to ensure compliance with all required routine maintenance activities to include:
Task reset schemes
Work instruction meta data
Approve high level changes to CDCS and MOC documents to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Develop and ensure effective communication schemes are maintained with customers (internal and external) to ensure compliance and effective execution of the Routine Maintenance Program.
Provide guidance and oversight to ensure execution of multiple projects to enhance or develop effective, compliant and efficient Routine Maintenance Programs.
Review Maintenance Programs Project Database workload prioritization plans to ensure operational needs are met and long term projects are executed efficiently.
Develop and utilize data analysis schemes to effectively develop or revise programs, processes or procedures.
Provide guidance and oversight on schemes designed to ensure cost effectiveness of the Routine Maintenance Program to include optimization and evolution principles.
Train and ensure assigned teams utilize MSG analysis to correctly determine applicability and effectiveness of tasks, programs, interval and packaging.
Develop and execute training as required to meet department needs.
Ensure the integrity of Mx Programs safety risk analysis to ensure company and regulatory standards are followed.
Oversee bridging schemes, as required, to blend maintenance program variances.
Support industry committees, as required, to ensure SWA is engaged as necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Aircraft systems and their maintainability.
The ability to interpret and understand technical documents, such as AMM, IPC, Engineering Diagrams, AD, and SB.
Ability to understand and execute task planning, scheduling and method of compliance philosophies as pertains to maintenance routine schedule requirements.
Ability to reconcile multiple variables in decision making.
Identifies problems, performs root cause analysis, investigates information, performs impact analysis, and formulates and executes plans to develop solutions.
Identifies strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
Ability to evaluate process for effectiveness and adjust as necessary to mitigate risk.
Ability to gather and organize change impacts across structure, organizations and processes to ensure acceptable risk levels.
Must be able to work without immediate supervision and prioritize assignments by budgeting time effectively.

Ability to measure and monitor teams performance with metrics etc. to properly evaluate team efficiencies and expertise and adjust as necessary
Required - High School Diploma or GED
Required - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
Required - 5 Years Aircraft Maintenance
Required - 2 years Aircraft Maintenance Program experience with a Part 121 air carrier
Required - 2 years writing, editing or using aircraft Maintenance Work Instructions
Required - Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) philosophy and experience performing Safety Risk Management (SRM) and Risk Assessments (RA)
Required - Proficiency in MSG3 Analysis
Preferred - Airframe and Power plant License or Engineering background
Ability to perform work duties for extended periods of time
Ability to use a computer with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by state date to comply with Executive Order 14042, which requires employees of federal contractors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
