A Rochester based online wedding stationery boutique is looking for a graphic designer and client coordinator to join our team! If you're a smart, passionate, committed person who strives to win and has a unique personality, then please read on!

Requirements:

  • Degree in Graphic Design
  • Command of the Adobe Creative Suite, most importantly Adobe InDesign
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • An upbeat attitude and professional tone
  • Ability to work independently but also follow processes
  • Great eye for design, attention to detail, and creative interpretation
  • Natural inclination for multi-tasking and organization
  • A love for wedding stationery and weddings in general!

The following skills are a plus, but not required:

  • Experience working in e-commerce
  • Customer service experience (phones, live chat, emails)
  • Basic understanding of digital printing

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designing customer proofs using our stationery templates
  • Working with clients via email through a proofing process
  • Preparing files and sending files to print
  • Answering emails, live chats, phones and generally engaging with our clients

Other Responsibilities as Needed:

  • Administrative tasks as assigned
  • Company projects as assigned

A typical day as a Designer and Client Coordinator at Shine would start with you settling in to your home office and reviewing any emails you've received from your clients overnight. After making adjustments to their proofs and answering any questions they might have, you'll begin designing new stationery orders.

Once you've gathered all of the relevant files and resources needed for the order, you'll use your creative eye to layout the client's unique wording. By substituting glyphs and making other adjustments, you'll produce a gorgeous design that looks clean and balanced, yet still true to the original template. Once perfected, you'll send the proofs off to your new client and check back in with your existing ones.

Depending on the day, you might be assigned to answer client inquiries, return phone calls, or chat with clients live through our website in addition to working on client orders. When communicating with current or potential clients, you'll make them feel special by sharing their excitement about planning their wedding and ordering invitations.

As the day goes on, you'll continue to multi-task through proof revisions, new orders, and customer questions. You will follow the orders assigned to you throughout the entire process, from initial proof design to preparing and submitting files for print, all while staying organized and on task. Although the work pace will be brisk, your teammates will be there to help you out when needed. You'll return the favor. You'll end the day feeling proud and excited about what you've accomplished both individually and as part of the team.

This full time work from home position is for our Sunday - Thursday shift. Hours are 8:30am-5pm Sunday - Thursday.

Pay: $43,000.00 per year
