POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Concept and create inspiring, attention-getting on-brand visuals that support See’s Candies marketing strategy and brand vision across all selling channels.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide inspired, on-brand creative for print and digital advertising, ecommerce, retail environments, packaging, catalogs, collateral, promotional materials and more, applying best practices and strong design principles. Deliverables are diverse.
- Partner with creative and marketing teams to develop integrated seasonal campaigns across all selling channels. This includes project kickoffs, internal creative reviews and presentation of designs to marketing and channel owners.
- Collaborate with designer’s team and production artists on all stages of the project from concept, through design development, production and final output.
- Develop employee communications in a variety of formats including emails, newsletters, posters, video and more.
- Complete special projects as assigned.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will enhance department effectiveness.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art or related field; equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- An outstanding portfolio! One that showcases your talent as a designer and your experience in a retail or consumer brand environment.
- Minimum of five years as a designer in an in-house retail or agency environment.
- Collaborative team player who can effectively communicate with multiple teams in a corporate environment. Solid understanding of business requirements and how they influence the final output.
- Able to respond to and act upon critical feedback.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to navigate tight deadlines and multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Self-motivated and decisive, with the ability to adapt quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
- Excellent client-facing skills; ability to deliver appropriate and effective communication with strong interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional design skills and technical aptitude with the ability to prepare files based on final output needs; stay current with industry trends.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and XD. Mac proficient with the ability to work with Excel, Google Docs, PowerPoint; Basecamp experience a plus.
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
