The team is looking for a driven technical documentation expert/project manager passionate about addressing our customers' challenges spanning Intel's flagship product architecture documentation and optimization. Technical writing skills needed as there will be significant work required in this area.The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:Owns and drives periodic releases of Intel architecture documentation updates to customers for pre and post PRQ products, specifically the Intel 64 Architecture Optimization Reference ManualContributor and owner to sections Intel Software Developer's Manuals Constantly identifies and drives systematic process improvements based on execution learning, stakeholder feedback, and customer feedback to ensure our documentation benefits from continuous improvements.Works closely with architects, and assists technical experts and authors with content write up and refinement.Passionate about high quality documentationCoordinates reviews and implements feedback from stakeholders.Manages interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders.Successfully engaging and influencing cross group engagement.Creates/tracks/adjusts the program schedule.Assesses risks and identifies solutions to timely, efficient achievement of program goals.Exercises judgment and discretion to develop solutions, remove obstacles and redefine approaches.Ensures appropriate progress against schedule and takes remedial action as appropriate.


You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors with 4 or more years of experience or Masters with 3 or more years in computer science or computer engineering or software engineering or information science or related discipline.

5+ years of experience with the following skills:

  • Prior experience as an author and maintainer of technical documentation
  • Excellent Influencing skills, and stakeholder management skills with stakeholders in engineering and business.
  • Expertise to continuously learn from execution and drive process improvements across functions and groups.

This position is not open to an Intel immigration sponsorship

Preferred qualifications:

  • Adobe FrameMaker experience.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Github databases for defect management and code commits.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
