Responsibilities

The incumbent is responsible for processing Engineering Change Orders in PLM System in the EBS (Enterprise Business System), maintaining EBS accuracy and works with Planners to ensure manufacturing schedules are met. Will facilitate the efficient operation of the Añasco location through coordinating with other support functions. Will perform all required duties in compliance with company policies and applicable external regulatory agencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Process into EBS the required Engineering Change Orders. This includes, but not limited to, creation/updates of product structure, router, items, and collection plans among others.
  • Maintain EBS items attributes.
  • Support EBS transaction to assure system accuracy.
  • Issuance of shop orders to manufacturing operations according to master plan schedule.
  • Issuance of Quarantine to assure manufacturing floor continuity.
  • Transact materials and request labels for the products requiring repackaging for Europe distribution.
  • Ensures compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, safety policies and good housekeeping.
  • Ensures all procedures are followed.
  • May perform other related duties to assist the Department Managers in providing optimal plant manufacturing operations.
  • Other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS – Education and Experience


The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position.

  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience. College degree is a plus.
  • 1 to 3 years for entry; 3 to 5 for intermediate years’ experience as data entry/clerk.
  • Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems required – preference to those with Oracle ERP experience.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Document Management System – preference to those with Agile experience.
  • Demonstrated Organizational and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of cultures, people, styles, and personalities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fully bilingual is preferred.
