Certified Medical Assistant

Responsibilities: We are seeking a responsible Medical Assistant. Applicants will be responsible for conducting patient screening questionnaires, obtaining a focused physical exam, assisting physician performing nasal swabbing, billing, patient scheduling, and EMR data entry. As a medical assistant, you will be working closely with patients, doctors, and physicians assistants, obtaining patient vitals, drawing blood, and aiding in day-to-day activities.

Requirements:

• Experience in a medical setting

Skills (preferable):

• Proven work experience as a medical assistant
• Phlebotomy certification a must

• Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding history taking and physical examination.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task

• Caring and compassionate

• Team player with good communication skills
• EMR and medical data entry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• Bridgeview, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
