Dispatcher / Customer Service

Georgetown Moving and Storage Company is looking for a dependable Dispatcher at our Alexandria, VA facility. This individual will primarily dispatch our trucks, however they will also be part of our Office Management / Sales team at this facility.

Responsibilities:

Organize and prioritize delivery assignments on a daily basis
Schedule and dispatch trucks for shipments
Coordinate and communicate with Transportation Manager and Sales Support team members regarding the daily shipments
Process work orders
Build relationships with drivers and customers
Assist customers and contractors
Computer proficiency and detail oriented is essential
Product and inventory knowledge with on the job training provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
