Job Description

Summary of the Position:
We are looking for a talented Creative Designer/Production Artist to work as part of a fun, fast-paced, and collaborative creative team. In addition to creating inspiring visual communications (including layouts for advertisements, brochures, print collateral, web banners, posters, and more), this individual will also assist in the creation of 3D packaging renderings (training to be provided) to use on a variety of platforms. The Creative Designer/Production Artist will also be responsible for the maintenance of our asset management platform, working with the brand managers and the brand protection team to make sure all assets are organized, current and meet regulatory/legal requirements.
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and assist in the production of print and electronic marketing materials (both internal & external) for presentations, advertising, collateral pieces, and other mediums.
  • Create renderings of various packaging applications to be used in a wide variety of platforms, including ecommerce, digital and print marketing (training to be provided)
  • Responsibility of asset management tool- must have ability to follow and suggest best practices regarding file naming conventions and maintain overall organization and storage of assets or final production files.
  • Effectively manage projects, creating layouts and designs within short timelines when necessary.
  • Work with outside vendors, including photographers, printers, display houses, et cetera.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization and function within a team environment.
  • Perform other assigned duties as may be required in meeting company objectives

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of graphic design/production artist experience in a marketing, advertising, or visual communications setting
  • Portfolio of design work
  • Must be detail oriented with strong time management skills - an individual who is comfortable with shifting directions and working on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in pre-press production and layout using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience using Esko software to create packaging renderings a plus.
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills - ability to articulate ideas and collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Regular attendance is required.
  • Travel 0-10%

Education and Experience:BA in Graphic Design from a four-year college
