Job Description

Brief Overview:

We are looking for a full-time RN to work as a clinical lead for our COVID-19 Therapeutics telehealth practice run in partnership with the Washington State Department of Health to provide COVID-19 treatment to people at high risk for developing severe disease. The focus of the practice is reaching traditionally marginalized communities through collaboration with local health jurisdictions, community-based organizations, and independent pharmacies throughout the state. While in the office, you will oversee the daily operations and act as a clinical resource within your scope of practice. You will also be responsible for the didactic clinical training of new staff. This position reports directly to the Telehealth Project Manager. Training and education on the knowledge and skills required to be successful in the role will be provided.

Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, have received at least one booster, and be able to provide proof of vaccination, no exemptions.


  • Tuesday - Saturday
  • Typically, 8am - 4pm with some flexible scheduling needed for meetings extending after office hours.

  • $88,400 - $99,840 (based on education and experience)

What You'll Do:

Clinic Management

  • Manage daily operations
  • Supervise clinic staff
  • Coordinate with the scheduling team to ensure appropriate staff coverage
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate them when necessary
  • Communicate updates and process changes to staff
  • Lead daily huddle prior to clinic
  • Train telehealth staff
  • Act as a clinical resource within scope of practice
  • Report concerns to Project Manager(s) and Director of Therapeutics
  • Attend Bird’s Eye meetings and as needed with outside agencies
  • Other duties as assigned

Customer Service and Process Improvement

  • Ensure staff provides a high level of customer service and professionalism
  • Report suggestions to the Project Manager for process improvement and streamlining
  • Ensure protocols and processes are being followed

What You'll Need To Get The Job Done:

  • Must be an RN
  • Must have an active RN license with Washington State
  • Bachelor's Degree – Master's preferred
  • Leadership Experience – Previous experience leading a clinical team preferred
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize needs, and quickly adapt to changes
  • Empathy, compassion, dependability, and kindness are a MUST
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills required
  • Able to communicate effectively
  • Basic computer skills as well as overall technical savviness
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a complex health care environment
  • Eagerness and enthusiasm for treatments aimed to reduce and/or eliminate the presence of Covid-19.
