Job summary
In this role you will own Go to Market strategy for Fire Tablets, including leading Global product launches. In doing so you will help to define business priorities and strategic direction for these beloved devices. You will own our product positioning, brand strategy, and pricing, and oversee the creation of our brand and marketing assets, including packaging, web pages, video, social media, and print. You will partner closely on our portfolio strategy and long-term innovation roadmap, with the opportunity to bring new product concepts to the table. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with other Go-to-Market leaders across Amazon Devices, including Alexa/Echo, Kindle, and Fire TV.

A work location of Seattle, WA or Sunnyvale, CA is preferred with significant work from home possible. Open to fully remote from other locations with occasional travel.

Key job responsibilities
  • Collaborates on product portfolio vision and strategy, including key features and portfolio mix
  • Drives product launches, including positioning, branding, packaging, marketing, and pricing
  • Drives global expansion, assessing product fit for new regions and identifying new requirements
  • Identifies and proposes business growth opportunities, including new products, distribution channels, and strategic partnerships
  • Engages in partner and developer meetings
  • Establishes ways to measure and track metrics related to awareness, purchase intent, and customer satisfaction
  • Prepares and provides business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics

  • Proven track record of delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives while managing multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) and proven ability to influence senior leadership
  • Experience launching products across multiple geographies
  • Experience marketing consumer electronics, digital content, or digital services
  • Experience running global marketing campaigns, and developing efficient customer acquisition strategies
  • Experience with Children’s products, and marketing to parents
