Job Description
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Documented one year of freedom from chemical use problems.
- Must pass Applicant Background Check Study Approval.
- Must have a High School Diploma.
Professional Qualifications
- Knowledge of chemical abuse and dependency.
- Knowledge of client rights and staff responsibilities.
- Knowledge of Vulnerable Adult Act and reporting
- Knowledge of Maltreatment of Minors and reporting
- Knowledge of Protective/ Emergency Procedures.
- Knowledge of CFR-42 as it relates to the obtaining of and the proper filling out of a Release of Information
Job Responsibilities
- Functions as a member of a treatment team comprised of the Treatment Director, Counselor, Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Social Worker, Billing Specialist and other staff consultants as needed.
- Participates in yearly staff training as required by 245G.
- Is responsible for Public Relations. Speaks with referral sources on a regular basis to ensure open communication lines for networking and marketing purposes.
- Complete intake calls utilizing initial screen/referral form, review with Treatment Director and/or Counselor Supervisor.
- Collect and sort mail, give checks to Executive Director.
- Maintain and update personnel files.
- Lock and unlock personnel files daily.
- Admit new clients
- Screen program requests, schedule Rule 25 Assessments
- Orientate new employees.
- Prepare new Employee Files, for new hires. File in personnel files and update as needed.
- Prepare and fax Initial Discharge Notice for county workers and probation officers upon client discharges at request and with a release of information.
- Copy Discharge/Termination of Services Summaries and mail/fax to county workers and/or probation officers.
- Stock and maintain copy machine and fax machine on a regular basis.
- Order office supplies
The Assistant Office Manager & HR Associate has authority to follow all emergency procedures. Must report to the Executive Director.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
